Student of the Month Recognition
The Optimist Club recognizes a middle school student from public and parochial schools in
West Bend. Each school chooses their recipient based on qualities that the
Optimist Club promotes. These qualities include: being optimistic and cheerful, always seeing good in others, being enthusiastic about the success of others, being helpful to those who show signs of need, and participating in a variety of school and community activities.

November Student of the Month:
Maggie House, an 8th grader at Badger Middle School received the November 2024
Student of the Month award! Congrats Maggie on being such a great example for others.
December Student of the Month:
Noelle Kreis, is an 8th grader from Good Shepherd who received the December 2024 Student of the Month award. Noelle shines as a supportive and encouraging presence. She is the first to lend a hand to classmates who may need assistance and never hesitates to try her best, even when faced with challenging questions. Keep letting your optimism shine, Noelle!
January Student of the Month:
Jadyn Assmann, an 8th grader at Holy Angels School was recognized as the January 2025 Student of the Month! Jadyn is generous, kind, and helpful. She treats everyone with respect and is both patient and encouraging. Congrats Jadyn on being recognized as the Student of the Month!
February Student of the Month:
Semilore Arowobusoye, a 6th grader from Silverbrook Intermediate School, was recognized as the February 2025 Student of the Month recipient. Semi enthusiasm and willingness to always help others shines brightly. She is involved in numerous school activities and has a 4.0 GPA. Congrats Semi, on being recognized by your teachers and peers!

What sets Malia apart is her unwavering faith, a steadfast belief that no matter the circumstances, everything will work out because she trusts in a higher power.
